Volunteer Opportunities

Join us as a volunteer! As a crucial pillar of our Foundation, volunteers play a pivotal role in advancing our mission to improve the trajectory of Latino families in the Silicon Valley region by increasing the number of Latino professionals pursuing successful STEM careers.

Mentor the next generation of Latinos in STEM

Become the advisor, ally, and mentor to a rising STEM leader. Latinos in Technology Scholars are carefully matched with dedicated STEM professionals for a 5-month program designed to open doors and build confidence. As a mentor, you’ll be paired with a 3rd- or 4th-year Latino undergraduate college student pursuing a STEM-related major, guiding them through their college and career journey in monthly 1-hour virtual meetings — a small time commitment with a lasting impact.

Help us close the gender gap in STEM

Girls Who Code Clubs empower 5th – 8th-grade Latinas to discover computer coding, explore STEM, and see themselves as future innovators. Trained facilitators, many of whom are women of color themselves, spark lasting curiosity while building a true sisterhood among students.

No coding experience required. Just curiosity and the willingness to show up.

Become a part of our biggest fundraising event of the year!

Volunteering at the Hispanic Foundation Ball is a great way to support our mission. This annual gala is our most significant funding event, and volunteers like you make this night a success.

Various roles are available—from event setup to greeters. Your time and dedication help reduce the cost of the event and support our educational mission and programs.
