Facilitate a Girls Who Code Club

We’re so excited that you plan to join us in closing the gender gap as a Club Facilitator in one of our in-person programs in Santa Clara or San Mateo Counties!

We’re actively seeking college students and women of color like you; in partnership with Girls Who Code, we teach young Latinas (4th-8th graders) how to code and offer the opportunity to learn about STEM through the lens of STEM professionals.

The role of a Club Facilitator is to:

  • Care about introducing girls to coding and support them to explore STEM careers.
  • Guide Club members through the curriculum. (provided by HFSV)
  • Help the members explore how STEM careers can be used to impact their community.

*Prior coding experience is NOT required; just a willingness to learn with Club members.

We support facilitators with curriculum training and orientation, a $450 stipend per club, and reimbursement of transportation costs.
