Newest member of the HFSV Familia

The Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley is thrilled to welcome Mirella Maldonado to the HFSV familia. Mirella joins us after two years at PwC as a State and Local Tax Associate. She now pivots to an Education Programs Coordinator role and couldn’t be more excited to empower the Latinx parents and students we serve. She comes with an expansive background in community engagement, program coordination, and leadership experience. Mirella’s free time consists of journaling, arts and crafts, and spending time with family and friends.

As Education Programs Coordinator, Mirella hopes to leverage her knowledge and skills to expand the HFSV’s education impact in the Santa Clara and San Mateo counties. Outside of work, Mirella is the Corporate Relations non-profit board member for Prospanica Silicon Valley, a professional organization with a mission to empower and uplift Latino professionals. Mirella is a dedicated change agent who strives to inspire those around her to innovate and grow.

Mirella is a native from Salinas but has lived in San Jose for over 8 years! She holds an Accounting Bachelor’s degree from San Jose State University. We look forward to the many contributions Mirella will set forth with the Hispanic Foundation as we aim to improve the quality of life for the Latinx community for Silicon Valley.
