2019 Latino Board Leadership Academy Mixer

By: HFSV September 20, 2021

On Thursday, April 18, 2019, the Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley (HFSV) held a Latino Board Leadership Academy Alumni Mixer (LBLA) at Olla Cocina in downtown San Jose in an effort to bring together our 13 academies. In 2011, the HFSV launched it’s first academy as a new form of leadership development among Latinos in Silicon Valley. The Latino Board Leadership Academy (LBLA) was created so that Latinos can advance in leadership roles as board members of nonprofits in our region. The HFSV believes nonprofit boards should reflect the community they serve and LBLA addresses the leadership gap in order to better improve the needs of the Latino community in Silicon Valley.

Thanks to all the LBLA’ers who were able to attend this mixer. You can look forward to us holding another mixer in the near future.
