Joseph is a Managing Executive Vice President at the Heffernan Group, a global insurance brokerage and financial services firm. He leads a team focused on supporting publicly traded companies, private equity funds, and late-stage venture funds. He also served on Heffernan’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and AI steering committee.

Joseph holds an NACD (National Association of Corporate Directors) Accelerate Directorship Certification™ and serves on the Advisory Council for the Northern California Chapter of the NACD. He also serves as an advisor to the Silicon Valley Directors Exchange and as a member of the CFO Steering Committee for the Silicon Valley CFO Leadership Council.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Syracuse University School of Information Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Syracuse University School of Business Management.  Joseph also guest lectures at Stanford University and Santa Clara University on Crisis at the Board level and Entrepreneurship.   

Joseph has served on multiple non-profit boards in Silicon Valley and San Francisco. He also volunteers at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco. In his free time, he enjoys painting, getting outdoors, hiking, and motorcycle riding.
