In this video, we welcome Camila Ramos, a 2018 scholarship recipient currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science at Cal State East Bay with just months away from graduating. A native from Colombia and a first-generation college student, Camila has not only managed to navigate college as a Latina pursuing a career in STEM but is also a full-time employee at Paypal. Camila shares the importance of graduating college debt-free and with a head start. As she continues to pave the way for other Colombianas, the Hispanic Foundation of Silicon stands proud in knowing many young Latinas will follow in her footsteps.
