STEM Workforce Project Management Intern

Michael is the STEM Workforce Project Management Intern at the Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley (HFSV), where he supports initiatives empowering Latino college students in STEM. His work spans data analysis, program design, alumni outreach, and storytelling. He is a first-generation college student pursuing a Computer Science and Engineering degree with a Math minor at Santa Clara University. He is passionate about leveraging technology to drive real-world impact and expanding access to STEM for underrepresented communities.

Michael has interned at both NASA and Meta. At NASA, he contributed to aeromechanics and research initiatives focused on Urban Air Mobility. At Meta, he worked on VR game development for the Oculus Quest 2 using the Unity game engine.

Driven by curiosity and purpose, Michael always seeks opportunities to grow, learn, and contribute to projects that make a meaningful difference, especially by helping more Latinos like himself enter the tech industry.
