Christina Ayar is the Data and Program Impact Intern at the Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley, where she measures the outcomes of K–12 STEM programs, develops communications materials, and supports community engagement efforts. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations at the University of California, Davis.
Growing up in East Palo Alto shaped her commitment to social equity and her belief that every student should have access to the resources and opportunities needed to succeed. Her previous experience includes policy and research work focused on environmental justice, water affordability, and community engagement through internships with public agencies and nonprofit organizations.
Christina also participated in the University 21 Global Citizen Research program, collaborating with students from around the world to explore sustainability and global development challenges. Fluent in Spanish, she enjoys connecting with diverse communities and learning from different perspectives. She hopes to build a career dedicated to expanding educational opportunity and advancing equity in underserved communities.
