At this time, our scholars are struggling with paying rent, food insecurity, and internet access. Many of our scholars have indicated they have lost their part time or college-based jobs. Additionally, many of our Latinx students have returned home and are trying to support their family members. Some scholars have lost their summer internships or are having a hard time securing one.  

It is too early to know the final impact the COVID-19 pandemic will have on our scholarship recipients. The Board of Directors of the Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley is providing a 1:1 match up to $4,500 on #GivingTuesdayNow. Whether it be a big or small donation, collectively, we have an opportunity to raise $9,000 on Tuesday, May 5th.   

Our goal is to provide as many scholars in need of some financial relief with a $200 gift. We ask that you join our efforts as we continue to support our Latinos in Technology Scholarship Recipients.
