Katalina is a San Jose native currently at Whitworth University, majoring in Health Science. Katalina is a Latinos in Technology Scholarship awardee and a past participant of our Elevate Math program.
Katalina finds inspiration in her two hard-working parents. Her parents always emphasized the importance of education and convinced her to join the Elevate Math program when she was at Bernal Intermediate Middle School.
“I owe a lot to the program, the staff, and my parents because without all of them I would not be where I am at today. The program helped me excel in academics where I did not think I could succeed. I could say it was a life-changing experience.”
Katalina is expected to graduate in 2020!
