Are you a nonprofit seeking help with recruiting board members?

LBLA Board Match Night is an opportunity for representatives from nonprofits to meet LBLA fellows who are eager to serve on a nonprofit board. LBLA’ers and nonprofits in our region get a chance to learn about each other and evaluate a potential fit. The Hispanic Foundation holds this event twice a year.

Starting Monday, April 27th the Hispainc Foundation will hold a Latino Board Leadership Academy Virtual Board Match Night for five days. The Latino Board Leadership Academy (LBLA) is a comprehensive leadership training program designed to recruit and train Latinos to serve as potential nonprofit board members, and match them with boards of nonprofit organizations whose missions best match their personal interests.

Over 70% of our LBLA Graduate Fellows have been appointed to a nonprofit Board of Directors. Our current class includes several professionals from the tech sector.

Due to COVID-19, this year’s Board Match Night will be unique! We will have a board match week. Nonprofits from different sectors in Health, Education, Arts, Housing will be able to select specific nights to meet our LBLA Fellows starting the week of April 27th through April 30th from 6-8 pm!

Please let us know if you’re interested. For this specific virtual Board Match Night, we have discounted the registration fee by 50% for the first 20 nonprofits to register!

We hope you can join us for our very first Virtual Board Match Night
