Ivonne
Montes
de Oca

Board Member Emeritus

Ivonne began her career as a journalist and founded The Pinnacle Company in October 1991. Starting in 1999, she led the effort to join the Hispanic Charity Ball’s committee members — who until then had been an independent group of volunteers — with the Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley. The transition and integration into one entity took about two and a half years, and resulted in a successful fusion of the group’s vision and mission. In 2008, Ivonne was honored by the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ Silicon Valley Chapter as a Distinguished Volunteer Fundraiser for her successful efforts on behalf of the Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley. Her community involvement includes serving as a senior fellow of the American Leadership Forum (Class IX), past president and founding member of the Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley and as an active member of the Rotary Club of San José.
