Taeya is a 3rd-year student at Santa Clara University. While focused on earning her degree in Business Management, Taeya believes that her role at the Hispanic Foundation will offer her a chance to experience the San Jose/Santa Clara community in a way she has not been able to due to the covid-19 pandemic. She is excited to bring her experience with event coordination and project management to give students, parents, and community members the resources they need to succeed. Taeya’s dedication to advocacy is grounded in her upbringing as a minority in the Bay Area. By working with and for one another, Taeya believes that minorities can occupy a space within communities, organizations, and universities in a meaningful way. Taeya enjoys watching reality shows on Netflix and spending time with her family in her spare time.
