Ryan Zambrano is a first-generation high school and upcoming senior at California State University, East Bay, majoring in business and focusing on finance.
Ryan has been involved with the Latino community since high school, volunteering at the Ecumenical Hunger Program in East Palo Alto. This organization assists families experiencing economic hardships. These programs taught him the importance of advocating for organizations that uplift individuals undergoing financial difficulties.
At his most recent work opportunity at Next Generation Personal Finance, a nonprofit teaching young students tools to manage and invest their money, Ryan had the chance to develop and build an engaging curriculum for millions of students.
Ryan’s experiences helped spark an interest in education and to provide helpful information to the community, much like the Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley does for young Latinos.
