Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley Welcomes Raquel Gonzáles to its Board

SAN JOSE, Calif. —June 7, 2010—The Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley (HFSV) today announced that it has added Raquel González as a new member to its board, broadening the scope of expertise available to the HFSV, its staff and fellow board members. HFSV.
About Raquel Gonzalez
Raquel González is Bank of America’s President for the Silicon Valley Market which includes all of Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties, and Fremont, Newark, and Union City in Alameda County. In addition, González, serves as the Bank’s Executive for the Western States Region. In her role as Market President, González is the company’s senior executive, responsible for coordinating operations of all the bank’s lines of business, serving area customers, and overseeing community development and philanthropic initiatives. As Executive for the Western States Region, she is responsible for consumer banking services and banking center operations in major markets throughout California, Nevada, and Arizona.
A very active member in the community, González serves on the board of the Silicon Valley Leadership Group. She has been recognized as one of the Silicon Valley Business Journal’s Top 100 Women of Influence and by the Mexican American Community Services Agency (MACSA) as one of the Most Influential Latinos in Silicon Valley. She is the executive advisor for HOLA, Bank of America’s Hispanic Organization for Leadership and Advancement, in California.
